Pirate Radio drama from fort on River Humber

Members of a local drama group will be ‘all at sea‘ for their next production – well out on the River Humber at any rate, which is sort of wet and sea-like.

The Caistor Amateur Theatrical Society – CATS – present a new musical comedy, set on a pirate radio station broadcasting from one of the forts in the River Humber.

A Life on the Waves’ features some tedious music from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, all of which I hate, alongside comedy and audience participation. Scary.

Performances are Friday May 15 and Saturday May 16.

The bar opens at 7pm, with curtain up at 7.30pm.

The ticket price of £12 includes and fish and chip supper. Yum.

Tickets must be bought in advance and are available from Caistor Post Office or 01472 851212.

Yes, I know I shouldn’t encourage them.
