This is looking due West from a little North of Liverpool. Two lovely things are happening in the photo.
Firstly, there are sand dunes in the way of what would be an extensive collection of not-turning wind turbines. You can tell they won’t be turning by the calmness of the water. Thank goodness we don’t have to rely on just them to create our electricity.
Way way way in the distance is Ireland. But that’s the other side of the Irish Sea, far too far away to see.
The second lovely thing is the calmness. What a lovely time of year.
