Bangladesh is drowning

As you know, the whole man made global warming bandwagon thing is made up. More and more are waking up to the fact that human intervention has neither caused it nor can stop it. It seems to be a natural cyclic event, and is probably one that we’ve seen occurring forever, but just haven’t been equipped to ‘measure’ in the way we can in recent decades.

However, the whodunnit is actually irrelevant. The link above is to an extremely well written piece about how the country of Bangladesh is drowning. The sea is rising consuming more of the land, or more likely, the land itself is slowly resubmerging as part of a natural cycle. The rivers are overflowing from the increased melting of ice in the Himalayas. The erosion is speeding up to the point that the majority of Bangladesh will be under the sea within the next few decades, and completely gone by the end of this century. What future for the 150 million inhabitants?
