Apparently, cats, these cats, in this really old photo, used to wait for the returning fishermen. After a day and a bit at sea, the fishermen would bring home their boats from the open seas laden with fish. That’s what fishermen do.
Yep, the cats are impatiently looking out to sea to see when their food is coming. When are the humans going to furnish them with nice fresh fish, as is the only purpose for humans?
I’m not sure if these were feral wild cats, forcing themselves to interface with human beings in order to guarantee their supper, or domestic cats. Being a very old photo, sadly, all these moggies have ceased to be. However, they are pictured doing what they do best. Instructing humans to feed them. Yes. Feed them. NOW.
