Social Meeja is so intrusive

I’ve sat in a restaurant next to a table full of people all busy on their phones instead of actually looking and talking to each other. They may even be communicating with each other via Facebork or Snapchat anyways.

I think why people don’t stop for a little bit of real life is because they are addicted.  A bit like a coke head or a skunk head or an alcie. They just can’t stop.  Even if there are people around them or things to do, they will sit there drinking, smoking or snorting.  Or, in the case of social media, texting, or recording short videos that nobody else watches despite having them sent to them.  It’s an addiction.  A bad addiction.

Sometimes people just need to take time out. They need to stop.  Social media shouldn’t rule life, it should complement life.
