Maybe. Just maybe. Maybe one day we will evolve beyond a mentality that puts so little value on human life. Maybe we’ll learn to respect and cherish humanity for what it is and the potential it has. Maybe we’ll stop hiding behind imaginary friends and sky fairies in order to justify our barbarism, and learn instead to just curb barbarism. The evolution of the mind is something I put my faith in.
