Well, this truly is a brilliant idea.
I’m not for positive discrimination based on sex, but we do have to protect those more vulnerable groups, such as women motorists.
Lets face it, in some parts of North America it’s always lone women car drivers who are targeted.
But, at least women can feel safe when it comes to car parking now.
With the high rate of attacks on women in secluded parking lots, especially during evening hours, the Amherst Town Council has established a “Women Only” parking lot at the Shopping Centre in Amherst, in Canada.
Even the parking lot attendants are exclusively female so that a comfortable and safe environment is created for all (female) patrons.
