Climategate 2.0: The BBC bias exposed

It is traditional during times of conflict, that the state media be used to propagate a hatred of the enemy.  It is important that those sent to war believe that the enemy is some kind of demon, rather than a person with alternative views to theirs.  We demonise the enemy in order to stop a conscript saying, “Hang on a minute, this guy I’m being told to shoot dead has a wife and children and is simply trying his best to muddle through life, that’s all”.  If the ‘cannon fodder’ of either side hasn’t be subjected to the indoctrination, they stop being killing machines doing their leader’s bidding and start asking questions.
The BBC has always willingly performed its bit for Queen and country in helping create and then spread this kind of propaganda. It was particularly good at it during the Second World War, and has been very good at broadcasting as it was told to in order that every country since World War II that we have randomly invaded, has had a completely demonised leader within.
But, it’s not just the propaganda prepping us ahead of a war that the BBC is good at. It is good at following specific agendas with regard to politics and environmentalism. The people right at the top probably don’t even realise this is happening.  However, this has been talked about many times, and is described in scary detail in the retired newsreader Peter Sissons memories.
Basically, to work in the BBC you have to be a dedicated Guardian reader.  That’s why the BBC only really advertises job vacancies in the Guardian.  Other political leanings are only allowed amongst those without influence or editorial input, like, maybe, the cleaners or technicians.  However, those who decide what goes to air, those who prepare it, those who research it, and those who edit it, all have to be dedicated Guardian reading greenies.  Ideally, they also have to hold strong views towing the party line on certain subjects.  One of those subjects is environmentalism.
The core greenie take on the environment is that we are destroying it.  This has always been their view, although across the decades their world view on how we are destroying it has adapted and changed as they’ve constantly created new bogeymen to worry children in schools with.  In more recent times they settled on ‘global warming’, which then got renamed ‘climate change’ once it was discovered that the world’s been cooling since 1998.
It is this agenda that dominates the BBC.  Since they know nothing outside of their indoctrination, it is, in their eyes, a given that we are all doomed and it’s all our fault.  This is why they all but refuse to put to air any view that contradicts this.
Alex Kirby worked for the BBC up until 1998.  Dangerously, he was the environmental correspondent for BBC TV and radio news, despite having absolutely no scientific training.  His recently exposed (Climategate 2.0) email to Phil Jones of the Climate Research Unit is very telling.
Kirby refers to those who hold alternative views to the doom and gloom scenario being pushed, as ‘loonies’, lamenting the fact that he has to let them on air, demonstrating how he has ensured that BBC coverage is not impartial (Note the ‘ho ho’ in his email about the pretence at impartiality):

“I can well understand your unhappiness at our running the other piece. But we are constantly being savaged by the loonies for not giving them any coverage at all, especially as you say with the COP in the offing, and being the objective impartial (ho ho) BBC that we are, there is an expectation in some quarters that we will every now and then let them say something. I hope though that the weight of our coverage makes it clear that we think they are talking through their hats.”

He indicates and is quite happy to crow about how the coverage is deliberately weighted to tow the party line, and to continue biasing towards the closed and pre-decided propaganda intended to demonise humanity.

And as already discussed, the BBC have a tradition of successfully demonising whosoever they are influenced to, so demonising humanity is an easy one for them.

Will the BBC ever look into its bias on this subject?  Will there be an investigation?  Will they try to move to objectivity in the coverage of the Climate Change debate?

Of course not, they are far too busy subjectively towing the party line and creating the demon.

  1. Hi,
It was noticeable last year how much time was used in news bulletins to show and discuss any extremes in the weather. You could sense the presenter trying to dream up something dramatic to say about their backdrop of cars slipping and sliding on ice and roads obstructed by snow as has been happening ever since there were roads. Then there is always the Vox Pop, where some fool is put before the camera to say that this is the worst they have ever seen it ( aside from the last time that it happened ).
Then we have the Weather Alerts, that flash up on the TV screen like an air raid warning.
All designed to make the population think ' My God, something bad actually is happening'.

Then when we end up paying through the nose for energy so as to subsidise useless wind farms, this is just accepted, rather than saying ' Open The Coal Mines Again '.

Finally, why are all the figures of snow depth, rainfall, and distances all in Metric ? Which EU directive is that?
You will notice that if a presenter does slip in to Imperial i.e., ' the car crash happened 500 yards from this junction ', they rapidly correct themselves and you can see the unease in their eyes as though they accidentally said ' f–k' on air.

    Peter Moore.
