Welcome to WordPress Chris – I’ve always found it a brilliant platform.
Like the style (as well as the content) – and a change every now and then is always good.
My only constructive criticism is that I think your header image sits uncomfortably against the background colour.
But then, I remember the colour scheme you had set on WordPerfect all those years ago used to make my eyes water . .
Anyone still remember WordPerfect? I was more a Wordstar guy. Both killed of course, by the giant “Word”.

I love Blogger, but it’s not moved on. WordPress has. Even so, it’s still harder and far more fiddly trying to put pictures in with posts, and dealing with formatting. In contrast, Blogger is so much easier. However, the lack of Themes and the more general ‘website’ looky-likey plugins seem to be vastly superior with WordPress, so I came back.
Word Perfect. What a brilliant Word Processing package. You might be right that I picked an ‘interesting’ colour combination, but I seem to recall it actually came with that combination. It may have been me, but I think it wasn’t, officer. Sigh.
