50 to 1: The real cost of climate evolution

Here’s an interesting call for funding.  It’s for an educational video about climate evolution.

Before you roll your eyes and sigh, let me explain how this one is different.

It’s not one of those videos telling us we are all doomed, nor making children explode if they dare question the man made global warming meme.  Neither is it a video that boringly and over complexly debunks the man made global warming meme.

It’s taking a different approach.

What it’s doing instead of disputing the figures from those believers in the man made global warming religion, is accepting them.  The thrust instead is to examine whether or not we would be better off doing nothing and waiting to adapt than spending all the money we spending are on attempting to stop climate evolution.

Apparently, going by the official figures (even though they are hotly disputed by more modern climate science and the failure of climate models to properly predict what would happen), we would be better off by a factor of 50 to 1 if we took a more enlightened view and global action.

It is 50 times more expensive trying to stop climate evolution than it is if we instead took an approach of trying to adapt to it as and when it evolves.  The money we are having to pay on bizarre ‘green’ projects and closing down cheap power stations is killing us, putting us into fuel and food poverty.  And it’s all for something that doesn’t appear to be happening.

So, this video is a fresh new approach.  Rather than it weighing in on the we’re to blame/we’re not to blame argument, it’s looking at what we should be doing about it all.

I like this approach.

Have a ‘consider’ about being a funder, even a $5 donation will do.  Certainly this video is a much needed educational tool that hopefully will move the reaction to climate evolution in a new direction.

The project is described in full here.
