The ‘meme’ or ‘lie’ about ‘global warming’ or ‘climate change’ is going to take a very long time before it is no longer embedded into our thinking.
Those who want us to believe that humans are in some way badly impacting on the climate loved the fact that 2012 started with a drought. The utility companies, happy to put profit before supply, helped by having underfunded their reservoirs, leaving them and the supply pipework in such a bad state of repair that water was becoming a scarcity and not meeting the demand.
Rather than blame the utility companies and order them to take some of their massive profits and reinvest in their infrastructures, it all became a very useful staging for the reinforcement of the global warming ‘meme’. The Met Office, the BBC, and some Government departments, as well as those who get their huge funding purely for maintaining the ‘meme’, such as the dozens of renewable companies, and not forgetting the activist organisations like the WWF and Greenpeace, were crowing about how this was something we would have to get used to.
Most importantly, the drought was all our fault. We were to blame, and this was to be the way for the future across the UK as punishment for causing climate change.
Indeed, the Met Office last March used its multi-million Pound computer modelling equipment to predict that April, May and June would continue to be drier than ‘normal’. By April the Environment Agency was warning that the drought and consequential water shortages would last well into 2013. Yes, it was all our fault of course, and this was man made global warming at its worst. We were in drought because of man made global warming.
It was then that the actual randomness of ‘weather’ decided to not comply with the predictions of those we pay to tell us what’s going on, yet are far too busy preferring to tell us we’re to blame for whatever does go on.
Yes, it started raining in April and just didn’t stop, with most months being a complete wash out, including the May and June previously predicted to be in drought. Flooding caused terrible damage and deaths.
Guess what? Suddenly we are now being told that this is the future. The UK will suffer from lots and lots of rain and it’s all our fault. It’s because of man made global warming.
Yep, that’s the same man made global warming that a year ago they were telling us would guarantee a future where water was a rarity that we were to blame for the disappearance of.
Do they really think we are swallowing all this shit? How can we be to blame for a drought that doesn’t become ‘the future’ and the constant rain which, no doubt, will also not become ‘the future’?
Somebody needs to call them out on this. Their religion, and it is a religion, which requires us all to believe unquestioningly that we are facing some terrible meteorological disaster and it’s all our fault, needs to be called out. They need to stop all the sooth-saying and fear-mongering that belongs back in the Middle Ages. They need to concentrate on learning about how the weather and climate actually works, and how none of what happens is actually anybody’s ‘fault’. It’s just the weather, stupid.

Drought can cause so many untoward events such as fire so I guess people should have the initiative to secure a fire extinguisher or learn preventive measures in order to battle against it.
