How likely is my Bluetooth headset to work again?

NB: Not my Bluetooth headset. Not even my face, honest.

The additional information you need: It fell off my ear and into the loo.

It would have been ok on my ear, but for the sudden jerking motion I had to make which made it fall.

The toilet seat was ‘up’ as per a man’s needs, but it never stays up properly apparently. Without warning, it fell, hitting a part of my body very violently.

Hence my involuntary sudden jerking movement which caused the bluetooth headset to leave my ear.

Any comments, thoughts, or ideas?
