It’s been 46 degrees Celsius in parts of America. That’s hot. Very hot. But, hey, that’s the weather. It does that. It gets hot. It gets cold. Every so often it gets seriously hot. Every so often it gets seriously cold. That’s the thing about weather. 46 degrees is only a couple of degrees above the usual highs that Oklaholma experiences every year.
Currently in Oklahoma they are suffering this serious heat, and it is unrelenting. They’ve had it before but not for a number of years. So, it’s not exactly a ‘new’ experience for them.
The heat has been wonderful news for those who want to push the Climate Change / Global Warming religion. When it’s very cold they keep quiet of course, but the heat fuels them to try to frighten people, as is their way.
So, when they happened on this picture of melting street-lights in Stillwater, Oklahoma they didn’t wait for the back-story. Immediately via Twitter, via Facebook and via the various websites and blogs they use to propagate their religion they started crowing about how this was a sure sign of global warming. Yep, to them this was conclusive proof that it was so hot because of global warming that street-lights were melting.
Ha ha ha. Idiots.
There was a dumpster fire immediately below the street-light. The heat and flames from it melted the street-light. Not global warming. Not even the weather.
