The Global Warming Hoax is melting

Weather and climate are funny things, aren’t they?

Our climate across the UK and North America is largely dependant on these massive great big fat worm things that are way above us.  They’re called the jet-streams. They wriggles about and slowly change position just like a, well, a wriggly worm, but in slo-mo, way up there in a tiny area called the tropopause.

Ok, it is far more complex than this, but for sake of argument, let’s say that how the worm wriggles is dependant on many things, but mainly the stuff being spurted our way from that big bright thing we orbit.

Yes, our sun.

A bit of a solar storm and after a while it’ll wriggle one way.  A bit of nothing and it’ll wriggle the other way.

Yes, it’s not as simple as that because it’s part of a huge collection of airborne and seaborne worms and all the far more complex bits inbetween that cause ‘blocking’ of pressure and weather fronts and all that malarkey.  But, here’s the crux.  If the jet-stream is to the south of our country it’s cold and wet.  If it’s to the north of the country it’s hot and dry.  Mainly.

Now then, whilst the UK flip-flops between warm and cold, sunny and buckets of rain drowning everybody, the wiggling of the jet-stream worm is such that North America is suffering from heat-waves, forest fires and the whole opposite, coincidentally.

This is all happening because of the way the jet-stream worm is behaving.

Whilst the resultant overall trend for the ‘weather’ in a region tends to be ‘decided’ by this jet-stream worm, when you look at everywhere across the entire planet and add up the temperatures, storms, rainfall, etc., the entire planet averages out to be exactly the same as it always is.  Kind of, if it’s exceptionally hot somewhere this will mean it’s exceptionally cold somewhere else.

It’s really not as simple as that, but that’s the principle of how we can arrive at the conclusion that the global temperature is more or less the same as it ever is.  Indeed, it’s not even warmed by 1 degree Celsius in the last 150 years when you add all the planet’s measured temperatures together.

Unfortunately, it’s been amazingly hot and dry in North America (whilst it’s been amazingly cold in other places).

So, from a blinkered perspective, North Americans are seeing the smaller picture, seeing just the weather that’s affecting them.  The same is true in the UK.  Well, it’s true everywhere.  We humans always find it hard to look at the bigger picture, we are a very subjective species.

This has allowed the man-made Global Warming fanatics to start all their seasonal, “See what we evil humans are to blame for?” memes.  Yep, they are rolling out the man-made Climate Change bandwagon in North America.

The highly funded eco-loonies have decided to pull a stunt whereby they let a gigantic ice sculpture of the word ‘Hoax’ melt in public in an attempt to, well, say something.  Nobody is too sure how this activity actually says anything specifically beyond ‘Hide your children from these mad people’, but like any religious cult standing in public talking their talk to the already converted, it is probably important to them.

North Americans are no longer being fooled by the eco-loonies generally, but it does seem to be taking an awfully long time for them to finally go away.  Maybe if moves were made to cut off their massive funding, they’d go away and find a new made-up fear to worry about and blame humanity for.

As for the weather, well pretty obviously it’ll be back to more seasonal averages next week.  No doubt that’ll confuse the eco-loonies even further.
