During the Second World War, when Hitler’s people started to round-up and make “places for people” and fill them with the Jews or other designated “undesirables”, the rest of the free thinking world was outraged.
However, today, now, Birmingham Council has started down the same ideological path of “Creating neighbourhoods of choice”. They mark these areas by putting signs on lamposts to warn people of the designated neighbourhood they are straying in to.
The sign I’ve pictured above marks an area designated as being for ‘the Irish’. I’m not exactly sure what a “neighbourhood of choice” is. Does it mean that herding ethnic groups into their own specific designated areas gives them choice or gives the ruling classes the “choice” to not have them in their neighbourhood? More importantly, why are the population of Birmingham just passively accepting this apartheid system being introduced?
