So everybody’s shouting and moaning about Louis Walsh ‘voting off’ somebody who could actually sing from Cowell’s X-Factor show. You know the show. It’s the one designed to train the plebs watching who they must buy the records of this Christmas. Now, let me get this right; The judges only get involved in voting between the bottom two receiving the least public votes? So, erm, for this singer to be in the bottom two, firstly it was down to the general public, right? And then you have four judges, each voting, and at least three must have voted the one person off, so how come it’s all just Walsh’s fault?

If the facts of a pretend talent show are so twisted and distorted, what chance have we when it comes to real news?
