The paranoid ones

As Christopher England I have made quite a number of enemies over the years. Usually, these ‘enemies’ are people who fall into two distinct camps.

Camp 1 contains those paranoid ones who are easily led and have been told through a drip-drip-drip feed that Christopher England is evil. Usually, they’re drip-fed anti-Christopher England propaganda by those who need to deflect attention away from whatever they are up to, such as destroying an offshore radio station or that sort of thing.

Camp 2 contains those who have engaged with me in conversation about things anoraky. They disagree with my take on things. I may have even carefully proved my case by long-winded protracted written demonstration. Instead of conceding defeat, these paranoid ones will then mount their campaign of hate against me.

What the two camps have in common is that the paranoid ones in them don’t actually know me. Indeed, most haven’t even met me.

However, they decide that they have to ‘teach me a lesson’. ‘Lessons’ have included trying to publish my home address, inviting others to firebomb my home and family, publishing my real surname (yes, no shit, it’s not actually England, but then most DJs from ‘that’ era don’t use their real names, so what?), discussing my private life in public, mail-bombing me with hundreds of nightly drunken emails, putting notes through my door saying to shut up or I’ll have a ‘problem’, setting-up websites designed to attack me personally, or taking the mickey out of websites I run or am involved in, posting in places using a parody of my name, setting-up ‘top secret’ mailing lists and latterly forums with a special select few old duffers only allowed in to bitch about me (in fairness, they bitch about more than just me, these poor old fellas), setting-up wind-ups and false websites and then loudly speculating that I am behind them, deliberately posting under other names and then suggested those postings are the evil Christopher England, and a whole host of other internet bullying routines. I don’t mind the cyber-bullying, but the ones that are mad enough to cross-over into real life scare me. If they are happy to set fire to my home and possibly kill my family in the process, then who knows what other evil acts they’ve committed closer to their own homes.

Most of this has ceased in recent months. Either they’ve predominantly gotten far too old and died, or they’ve found new victims to attempt to bully.

An interesting observation about these paranoid ones is that they are usually strongly Christians. Christianity being quite well known for its crusades against ‘innocents’ obviously suits their purpose and explains their character.

Strangely though, what the paranoid ones can’t defeat is my track record. Let me blow my own trumpet about how wonderful I truly am. Heh heh. Look, I’m great, I am.

Ok, ok, ok, yes, now and again I get things wrong, but history shows that predominantly whatever radical ‘solution’ I am proposing today comes to pass tomorrow. That tomorrow can be 5 or 10 years later, but I’m usually right. Brilliant. That’s why I have this massive heeed.

Anyway, before Christmas, expect me to spout off here with some information that’ll really annoy the ‘believers’ in the Isle of Man Long Wave radio project, supporters of the recently evicted Maidstone based version of Radio Caroline, and those who rally around the version of Big L that was in Frinton.

Yes, something for everyone! Now, let’s see what the paranoid ones have to say about what I’ve said so far. I’ll be reading their secret forum tomorrow!
