Which way is the bus going?

What you see above is a bus.
But which way is it going?
Is it travelling from left to right, or right to left?
How can you work it out?
In fact, it will be different depending on which side of the road your country drives on.
But, just by looking at the picture it’s dead easy to tell the direction its travelling in, in your country.  How?
Have a good look.  Examine the picture.  It becomes obvious.  Very obvious.
Got it yet?
Ok, it’s not really moving, and it’s a drawing, but that’s not the answer.
Based on the information in front of you, and assuming it really is a bus and it really is moving, which direction is it moving in?
Well I can tell you that in America and most of Europe it is travelling from right to left.  In the UK and Ireland, and the more sensible parts of the world, it is travelling from left to right.
How can you work that out from just looking at the picture?
Easy.
You can’t see the door.  It must be on the other side.  The door of a bus is always on the kerbside of the side of the road the bus travels on. The left side of the bus in countries that drive on the left, the right side of the bus in countries that drive on the right.
Simple.
