The case of the missing leg, part 2

This is the photo without any photoshopping at all

I previously included an article (here) on England’s England about how I had photographed a human leg on a sand dune adjacent to a Ministry of Defence area called Altcar.  My story was about how when taking a subsequent look it had disappeared.

I have been instructed to advise you that my story was fabricated and the photo was a complete forgery. There is absolutely no Ministry of Defence area near Altcar.

Correction: Oh, sorry, whilst there is of course a Ministry of Defence area near Altcar, the chances of a human leg being left in the sand dunes is exceedingly remote, as every person is always accounted for.

This is the photo I clearly photoshopped the leg onto

It can be clearly seen from the evidence I’ve been instructed to re-publish for you that the photograph was doctored to include the human leg.

Correction: It can be clearly seen from the evidence I have freely decided without duress to publish, that the photograph was doctored to include the human leg.  In fact there was no leg there before.  It was just a sand dune with nothing in the space where I deliberately and mischievously grafted a picture of a human leg onto it in order to make the alarming tale I completely made up seem true.

Correction: I in fact, carefully removed from the original picture, a fallen log that was quite naturally laying on the sand dune, and this I changed to the leg.

If you examine the first picture, you can clearly see that there is no leg whatsoever in the sand dune, but just a piece of fallen log.  In the second picture you can see that I edited out the fallen log and replaced it with the human leg.  That’s what I did.

I can only apologise about this obviously false story and for any embarrassment to the authorities the leaking out of the photo of the human leg may have caused.

Correction: I can only apologise about this obviously false story and for any embarrassment to the authorities that my completely photoshopped human leg photo may have caused.

I won’t do it again, as I know that the Ministry of Defence are a very hard working and important organisation and they don’t want to have to tell me a second time or have to take my family away for interrogation.

Thank you for your attention.
