So, prompted by the awfulness, the seriousness, the sheer inexplicable violence of the looting and rioting, the Courts are finally dishing out the kind of sentences they should have been dishing out for years.

Yes, the sentences are enhanced compared to what would have been dished out before the riots for identical crimes.
Good.
It’s a real shame it had to come to this. It had to take a riot for the sentences to actually mean something.
Finally.
The scum who committed these crimes laughed and boasted on camera (well, the cameras they hadn’t violently stolen from the news teams) about how being caught wouldn’t matter. It was with this knowledge that they came out and took what they wanted and enjoyed hurting, killing, damaging and destroying as it was all one big belly-laugh!
They ain’t laughing now though, they’re running scared.

Criminals should always be the ones running scared. We’ve had decades of the victims of crime, not the criminals, running scared. This is mainly because the criminals are never caught and so never prosecuted and so never dis-encouraged from continuing their life of crime.
Even after the tiny few occasions that the criminals have been caught and then sentenced to what amounts to nothing, the victim never actually feels safe. The criminal is just laughing at their victims and then at the system that does nothing to stop them or deter them.
Yep, the criminals laughed at the system that is so broken and so stupid that it doesn’t know how to stop them continuing their crime waves, and that’s why they came out in their tens of thousands to riot, loot, hurt, murder and destroy and laugh.
Except they ain’t laughing now. We are. But for how long?
We’ve got these privileged middle-class bleeding-heart liberal political-correctness worshipping do-gooder loonies from obscurely named organisations or ‘alliances’ (probably costing us a fortune in stupid grants) moaning about it all being far too tough on the poor hard done by rioters and looters.
What the fuck is wrong with these people?
Do they really not want law and order in this country and for the criminals to rule?
Isn’t it time they were rounded-up and prosecuted for treason?
