Nails in the coffin of the Global Warming scam

The “Global Warming” or rebranded as “Climate Change” religion suffered a couple of blows to its crusade to infect our minds with its lies and rot over the last few weeks.

Firstly, the warmist crusaders produced a bizarre short film.  The basic concept within it was that in different scenarios, groups of people were given the option to involve themselves in some form of activity to reduce their carbon emissions.  Those that refused to be part of the con were then shown being firstly told that it didn’t matter, no problem, “no pressure”, it was their choice.  Then this was swiftly followed by those that it didn’t matter to being deliberately blown to pieces in a very gory blood splattering manner.

In other words, disagree with the religion of Global Warming and you will be killed by its followers.

One group of people were young school children in a classroom, having to deal with the horror of classmates being blown to pieces for daring to not agree with the teacher’s inane demands.

What we are seeing is an almost identical level of intimidation to that the Catholics used to use against women they’d decided were witches, or people that were saying the world might be round.  It’s the same as the Spanish Inquisition, or the cruelty we hear of performed by Nazis who enjoyed giving false hope and then torturing or suddenly killing their captives.

This was the message from the warmist crusaders: Do as we tell you or we will pretend it doesn’t matter and that you have a choice to disagree with us, and then we will actually kill you for daring to disagree with us and our beliefs.

Imagine if in these modern days and ages a similar film had been put together by, say, cult followers of Islam, or a radical Christian cult. We would be up in arms and demanding they be investigated and arrested or dealt with in order to protect us from their desire to murder us and our children based on a belief, a blind faith.

Yet, because it’s the new age religion of Global Warming / Climate Change their threats are ok.  Nope, their threats are damn well not ok.  We cannot have these alarmists continuing to try to scare and intimidate us about something that is nothing but a new age religious belief and has no support from evidence based science.

However, I feel we won’t have heard the last from these scary end-of-the-worlders.

The second nail in the coffin of the Global Warming scam was the announcement that the Royal Society has changed their mind about their stand on Climate Change.  From originally holding a staunch “We’re all doomed and it’s all our fault and the science is unequivocal” position, they have now shifted to say that the debate is far from over.  They are sceptical and believe that a lot of the science their original pontification was based on was faulty or even fraudulent science, and so for them the jury’s still out.

In lots of ways this now means that the UK is no longer signed up to the lie.  This of course won’t stop the crusaders who want to believe humans are to blame for something – anything – and we’re all doomed.  They will continue to scream and shout and intimidate, and, who knows, they may even start to kill and intimidate those who don’t follow their religion, just as the crazed animal activists and pro-lifers do, so their film of murdering children not toeing their line may be very prophetic.

However, at least the Government now knows that the whole scam of man made carbon emission based Global Warming is just a religion and not an actual real science.  And that’s got to save us a fortune!

  1. OK, so you are poking fun at this, but it's actually a very important issue. What should we do with the people who, according to most scientists who have looked at the issue, are putting the future of the world at risk by refusing to change their behaviour in very small ways. That's a pretty big risk to take – putting the future of the world at risk. And a pretty selfish risk, too, given that it's not the risk takers who will have to pay the price. I'm not suggesting that a red button is the right way of dealing with these people, but we've got to do something before these people wreck the world for everyone. As such, radical solutions are needed. And while you will play devil's advocate, you know this is true. Perhaps a red button wouldn't be so bad – for this and other issues.

  2. That's what Christopher believes too. He's only joking when he says climate change is a conspiracy.

  3. @real englander – About 60% of the scientific community believes there is not any proof that human activity is in any way contributing to how the climate is and/or will be. Only 40% are the 'true believers', and these are usually the ones highly funded to be 'believers'. Their number is rapidly decreasing as the science falls apart and is shown to be faulty and fraudulent, and none of their random predictions have come true.

Secondly, taking your logic to its obvious conclusion, would you also have a red button to press for those who disagreed with you on other issues? As in, would you kill those who don't agree with your politics, your religion, the act you like on X Factor, etc.? Would you kill those from a race you didn't like?

  4. I know you're being devil's advocate here, but I'll give you an answer in the spirit of playing along.

It's not me who's suggesting extending the red button programme. It's you.

I assume the 60% of scientists you refer to are the 60% who work in some completely non related area, and as good scientists don't have a view either way. It's no more right for you to claim these as global warming sceptics than it is for me to claim that they believe strongly in the (very large amounts of) evidence for the problem.

And while we're on the subject of your faults, isn't responsible to make light of this issue. While I know you're joking, there are people – unwittingly dangerous people – who genuinely believe that global warming isn't true. I think there's serious risk that young, impressionable people could read your web pages and become “anti” green movement. And of course, the potential consequences of that, as the University of East Anglia emails proved, serious. Then, the Murdoch dominated press seized the opportunity to wreck the Lisbon treaty – which at the time was our best hope of saving the planet. I just worry what will happen to our children if this madness isn't stopped.

    then

Quote realenglander: “It's not me who's suggesting extending the red button programme.”

Does this mean you changed your mind?

With regard to the 60% of scientists, I, of course, alluded to the scientists involved in researching and documenting matters related to the climate, and so being in a position to make pronouncements on AGW. Indeed, very recently one prominent such fellow resigned from an organisation in America because his conscience wouldn't let him keep up the pretence of man's catastrophic influence on climate any more.

The main reason there is this pretence that man has influence of climate is to start-up and maintain the multi-Billion-Dollar carbon trading industry, which people like Al Gore are highly embedded within.

And. Don't worry about our children. They will be fine. The only way they won't be is if the carbon trading industry madness isn't stopped and it puts ridiculous sanctions and controls on them to destroy their quality of life.

Their immediate future is also going to be quite a cool one, they will need to wrap up warm if the early predictions about the next solar cycle are correct.

  6. So instead of getting rid of a few troublemakers who are intent on causing the rest of us harm (in, what has to be said, in a pretty humourous way – the video was intended to both to amuse and to stimulate discussion, and it certainly achieved its aim), your solution is to kill us all – the innocent along with the dirty environmental terrorists, by refusing to do simple things like walk where possible instead of taking the car?

what's wrong with you? Don't play devil's advocate. Stop for a moment and think about the damage you are doing.

  7. @realenglander:
Here's the slight problem. You are taking the position of a global warming 'believer'. The 'believers' are driven by a need to believe, a need which it appears always outweighs any need to examine the overwhelming evidence that there is nothing to believe. One of the issues with any 'faith' is that it doesn't require the examination of any evidence-based science in order to 'believe'.

Therefore your position includes the faith-based assumption that those that don't have this faith are in some way people that are a) doing something wrong and b) need to be punished for this imaginary wrong doing.

This is a very common attitude that the religious have about those who challenge their 'faith', and in its extreme it gives us suicide bombers, or at the very least a sneering damnation to hell for unbelievers or those 'outside' the cult of belief.

What are your feelings about the lack of evidence to support the theory of AGW?
